The Technology Procurement Process map comes from Paritii, a woman-owned and operated firm delivering tech-enabled, data-driven, sophisticated, sustainable and equitable strategies for social impact. This resource is one of the series that resulted from Paritii’s partnership with the Advising Success Network.
Institutions can use this process map to understand the phases of technology procurement, including what might initiate a technology change, current process milestones, and ideal process milestones. Better understanding the full process, who should be involved in each step, and approaching the beginning of procurement with the end in mind, can help alleviate some of the pitfalls and challenges in selection and implementation.
